Big news in Sidhu Moosewala murder case: Key witness and in-charge of police station dies

A major update has come out regarding the murder case of late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. Let us tell you that Angrez Singh, a witness in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case and in-charge of Police Station City 1, has died.

The investigating officer of the murder case of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, the then-in-charge of Police Station City-1, Angrez Singh, has died. He was ill and was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Ludhiana. He was also to appear in Mansa Court on Friday. When he did not appear, the court gave the next date for July.

Angrez Singh had started the investigation of the murder case of Sidhu Moosewala. He retired after illness. Now his son is serving in the Punjab Police. At the same time, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested a member of the Lawrence gang.

The arrested accused has been identified as Rahul Sarkar. He is accused of making fake passports for the henchmen of the Lawrence gang to expel them from the country. He had also made a fake passport for Sachin Thapan, one of the main accused in the Moosewala murder case, to go abroad.

The NIA was investigating this case for a long time. The NIA arrested the accused on Friday and produced him in the special NIA court located at Patiala House in Delhi.

In the year 2022, NIA had registered 2 separate FIRs to prevent illegal activity. In one FIR, Lawrence gang members were named. In the second, Lawrence’s anti-gang members were also named.
