Ludhiana: A big revelation has come to light in Ludhiana’s famous Sweety accident case. Sweety, who was going to the gym, was not a victim of the accident. Sweety was murdered by her lover as part of a well-planned conspiracy. This big revelation has been made by the police. Her lover along with his cousin killed Sweety by mowing her under the car. The two accused Lakhwinder and Kulwinder who committed the crime have been arrested, while the driver Ajmer Singh is already in police custody.
Station in-charge Nardev Singh said that the accused Lakhwinder Singh told the police that he was married and had a son but his wife had died in a road accident seven years ago.
He said that seven years ago Sweety Arora came in contact with him through social media and Sweety was continuously pressurizing him to marry her.
Sweety was Mowed to death by SUV
As a part of the plan, he decided to kill sweety. He along with his cousin Kulwinder made plan to kill sweety and remove her from his way. She was mowed done by SUV to death on May 11, 2024.
On checking the CCTV footage, it was found that the driver who mowed sweety came out after applying brakes. He checked Sweety’s pulse and instead of stopping and rushing her to hospital, he ran away from the spot. Later the driver of the car surrendered in front of Police so as make the incident look like an accident not murder.
Scrutinizing of CCTV footage turned the case. After interrogating the driver, the police called the accused Lakhwinder Singh and Kulwinder Singh for questioning, after which they confessed to their crime.
