Chandigarh : In Punjab, the BJP has released the second list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections.
In this, former IAS officer Parampal Kaur Sidhu from Bathinda, Anita Somprakash from Hoshiarpur and Manjit Singh Manna from Khadur Sahib have been given tickets.
Earlier on March 30, BJP had released the first list of Lok Sabha candidates. 6 candidates were announced in it. Among them were Sushil Rinku from Jalandhar, Ravneet Singh Bittu from Ludhiana, Parneet Kaur from Patiala, Hansraj Hans from Faridkot, Dinesh Babbu from Gurdaspur and Taranjit Singh Sandhu from Amritsar.
This time, the BJP has cut the ticket of the current MP from Gurdaspur, Sunny Deol. He was constantly being questioned about his absence from the Lok Sabha constituency.
