Gurdaspur : Dinesh Singh Babbu, BJP candidate from Lok Sabha constituency Gurdaspur, filed his nomination paper in administrative complex.
Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, former Punjab Chief Minister and Pathankot MLA Ashwini Sharma and BJP leader Fatehjung Singh Bajwa were also present with him. Earlier, a road show was also organized in the city. There was great enthusiasm among the workers about the road show. Strict security arrangements were made by the police administration.
BJP candidate Dinesh Singh Babbu, while talking to reporters after filing nomination papers, said that a small convoy had started from the house, but gradually people joined. He said that people are giving a lot of love.
He said BJP will win with huge margin in Gurdaspur district. When asked about farmers, Babbu said that farmers are also his brothers. He is also from a farmer family. Whatever problems they have, they will be solved. He said that the country will strengthen in the hands of the BJP.
