Bathinda: BKU Ugrahan supports Farmers’ agitation, to gherao residences of BJP leaders today
Bhartiya Kisan Union (Ugrahan) has supported farmers’ agitation and today will gherao residences of BJP leaders. Protests are going on at Shambhu and Khanauri borders to enter the National capital. Farmers want to protest against their unfulfilled demands from the previous Delhi March.
Today protests will be held outside the residences of BJP leaders including, BJP President Sunil Jakhar at Abohar, Former CM Captain Amarinder Singh at Patiala and BJP leader Kewal Singh Dhillon at Barnala.
Apart from the gherao at residences, there is also news that farmers will make toll plazas free on Saturday and Sunday.
Joginder Singh Ugrahan, president of BKU (Ugrahan) announced their support to Sanyukt Kisaan Morch (non-political) and Kisaan Mazdoor Morcha in this famrmers movement.
He also added that though other farmers groups would have been taken together before announcing Delhi Chalo march, BKU has decided to extend support to the famers’ movement and march in planned and coordinated manner.
