Samrala: Sankyukta Kisan Morcha yesterday held an important meeting of all the farmers leaders and decided the next course of action. As a part of protest, Black day or Aakrosh day was observed pan India.
Agitating farmers protested against Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij and others by burning their effigies. Hundred of farmers participated in this demonstration held today in front of the SDM office Samrala.
Hardeep Singh Gyaspura of BKU cadres said that the effigies of Ministers were burnt as a result of the decision taken by the SKM yesterday. Hardeep Singh said central government is misbehaving with farmers.
He even added that young farmer was shot dead by Haryana Police on the orders of union govt. He said demands of farmers should be accepted otherwise the movement will continue to move forward.
Another farmer Sukhwinder Singh said that the central government is treating the farmers very badly on the Shambu and Khanuri border. Condemning the use of tear gas and bullets on the farmers, Sukhwinder Singh said, we will move forward with the strategy made by SKM
