Tarn Taran: Border Security Force troops Punjab arrested a drug smuggler yesterday. The drug smuggler was arrested by the BSF when he was tracking the consignment of drugs by Drone from Pakistan. The arrest of drug smuggler was made in Pakistan.
On 30th Aug 2024, vigilant BSF troops apprehended a smuggler on a motorcycle while tracking the dropping of consignment of narcotics by a Pakistani drone in village Daler of Tarn Taran district.
The troops swiftly apprehended the suspect and seized 598 Gms of heroin from his possession, that was wrapped in yellow tape with a copper wire loop, confirming it as a drone drop.
This significant action highlights BSF’s professional capability and dedication, dealing a major blow to the cross-border narco-syndicate.
