The problems of the Shiromani Akali Dal are not showing any signs of abating. Today, Shiromani Akali Dal suffered another big setback. Rajinder Singh Jeet, a close leader of Sukhbir Badal and Bikram Singh Majithia, has resigned from all the party posts including the primary membership and bid farewell to the party.
Jeet is a resident of Khanna and has been associated with the party for a long time. Rajinder Jeet, who started his political journey from the Akali Dal, has held many important positions in the party. He is also a former councilor of Khanna and considered very close to Former party president Sukhbir Singh Badal and Bikram Singh Majithia.
It is reported from sources that Rajinder Singh Jeet may join the Aam Aadmi Party. Speculations of Jeet joining AAP has been made because recently he met Cabinet Minister Tarunpreet Saundh in Khanna. Thus it is speculated that he may join the party through Saundh. Today, there is talk of his meeting with Aam Aadmi Party President Aman Arora in Chandigarh and there he may join the Aam Aadmi Party officially.
