Brutal murder of girl in Khanna, body found near railway line

A case of brutal murder of a girl has come to light near village Aloud in Khanna of Ludhiana district of Punjab. The naked body of a girl was found in a wheat field near the railway line. The mouth of the deceased was tied. On receiving the information of the case, the police took the body in their custody and sent it to the city’s general hospital for postmortem and started investigating the case. At the same time, the FSL team also reached the spot and tried to collect evidence.

The farmer informed the Sarpanch after seeing the body

According to the information, farmer Dalveer Singh saw the dead body in the field at 7:30 in the morning. He immediately informed the Sarpanch of the village. The Sarpanch informed the police. Investigation of the spot revealed that the dead body was on one side of the railway line and the clothes and slippers of the girl were found on the other side. Investigation revealed that the girl was first murdered. Then the body was dragged from near the railway line and hidden in the fields.

Police trying to identify the girl

According to SHO Sukhwinderpal Singh of Sadar police station, efforts are being made to identify the girl. The body has been kept in the mortuary of Khanna Civil Hospital for 72 hours. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
