Case filed against pensioner who forged the signature of Sidhu Moosewala’s Sarpanch mother

Mansa : Charan Kaur, the mother of Shubdeep Singh Sidhu Moosewala, is the sarpanch of Moosa village. On the basis of the statements of Sarpanch Charan Kaur’s husband Balkaur Singh, police station City 2 Mansa has registered a case against an unknown person after the case of an unknown person filling the form for getting disabled pension by affixing his fake signature and seal.


This matter came to light when the prepared pension papers with fake signatures and fake stamps arrived at the District Child Development Office. In these papers, the forms were filled by writing the name of Paramjit Kaur, wife of Virpal Singh, resident of Moosa.

Sarpanch Charan Kaur’s forged signature and seal were affixed on them. When the officials of the office saw the records, they reached the village Moosa, where they found out from Sarpanch Charan Kaur that the stamp and signature of the Sarpanch were fake.

After this, the investigation revealed that an unknown woman tampered with the Aadhaar card of Paramjit Kaur, wife of Virpal Singh, resident of Ladhuka, District Fazilka, by changing her photo, tampering with her bank account number, besides using a fake identity card and Forms for pension were filled by making fake disabled IDs from the Chief Medical Officer.

Paramjit Kaur wife Virpal Singh was not found to be related to village Moosa. Balkaur Singh, husband of Sarpanch Charan Kaur, complained to police station City-2 about the use of these fake signatures and fake seal.

In this case, apart from Balkaur Singh, Mandeep Singh Jr. Assistant Office Civil Surgeon Mansa, Gurjinder Kaur Clerk Office Bal Development Project Officer Mansa and Paramjit Kaur’s wife Virpal Singh, resident of village Ladhuka, after recording the statement, started further action by registering a case against an unknown person on the complaint of Balkaur Singh.
