Jalandhar: Former Punjab CM and Congress Candidate from the Jalandhar Lok Sabha seat Charanjit Singh Channi has made a big statement about the central government ahead of polling in Punjab. The 13 seats of the state will undergo polling on June 1, during the last phase of elections.
Making a big claim Charanjit Singh Channi said that Punjab is going to give a huge mandate to Congress. he added that Centre government by led by PM Modi is trying to drown Punjab in every possible way.
He also launched an attack on the current state-ruling AAP government led by Bhagwant Mann. He said that AAP leaders are running drug syndicate in Jalandhar.
He also made mention of the incident in which officials going to the supervision were attacked by gang members of Sand Mafia.
Channi said, “Punjab is going to give a huge victory to the Congress because the central government has tried to bring Punjab down in every way. The Centre wants to drown Punjab by killing the farmers. People are fed up with their policies…AAP leaders are running the drug mafia in Jalandhar. The incident that happened in Nakodar yesterday, the officials going to mining were attacked. Everything is going on under the supervision of the AAP MLA. The attack that happened yesterday was also because of AAP.”
