Chandigarh: Low intensity explosion outside Badhshah owned bar and lounge, window panes shattered

Candigarh: Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Chandigarh on December 3, explosions took place outside the Seville Bar and Lounge and Deora Club in Sector-26 in the early hours of the morning. A video has also surfaced in this regard. In the CCTV footage, it is seen that a person has thrown a bomb.

In the CCTV video, it can be seen that at 3.15 am, a youth threw a bomb-like object towards the club. After which a huge explosion took place. As soon as the smoke rose, the youth ran away from there.

DSP Dilbagh Singh in the matter said that at 3.25 am, they received information in the control room. After this investigating officers went to the spot. It is also said that the bar and lounge outside which the explosion took place is owned by singer and rapper Badshah.

A low-intensity explosion took place outside a bar in the upscale of Sector 26 of Chandigarh. Reportedly the explosion took place outside Sevillee, a bar and lounge owned by singer and rapper Badshah.  It is said that two other bars were also affected due to the explosion.

In this low-intensity explosion, that raised serious safety concerns, no casualties have been reported yet. However, the blast caused damage to several window panes of the bar and lounge. The impact of the explosion was so severe that is shattered window panes. The forensic team has started the probe and soon it will be known what kind of bomb was used for the explosion outside the bar and lounge.
