Derabassi police register case in death of youth in Cambodia

Derabassi police have registered a case in the murder of a youth in Cambodia. The police have registered a case against accused Vikram Singh under sections 318(4), 316(2) of the Indian Penal Code, section 13 of the Punjab Travel Professionals Act, 2014 and section 24 of the Immigration Act, 1983.

According to information received from sources, a case has been registered and an accused travel agent has been arrested from Ambala. The police are currently interrogating the accused. The police are not confirming the arrest.

Let us tell you that on Saturday, 24-year-old Randeep Singh, a resident of Sheikhpura Kalan village in Derabassi, who had gone abroad, died. The accused travel agent had first sent him to Vietnam and later to Cambodia so that he could be sent to the US through the donkey route, but in Cambodia he sustained some injuries on his body.

The infection spread throughout the body, but the agent did not treat him properly. Due to this he died. The family had filed a complaint against the travel agent on February 20 itself.
