In an appalling incident, a Father attacked his own daughter along with the maternal uncle. The shocking incident is from Behbal Manjh village of Hoshiarpur Mukerian. According to the information, Palvi Sharma, the victim had been living in Mumbai for a long time after divorce from her husband. Reportedly she was having a dispute with her parents regarding the property. The attack by the father was carried out because of the dispute over property.
Reportedly, When Palvi came to her father Surinder Sharma’s house in the afternoon, Palvi’s father and maternal uncle attacked her by sharp weapons. She sustained serious injuries and was immediately admitted to Civil Hospital after the intervention of neighbors. Doctors at the Mukerian Civil Hospital seeing her condition as critical, referred her to Amritsar.
The dispute between them grew up to such extent that both father and uncle threw Palvi’s belongings out of their house. When she tried to intervene and stop them, they attacked her with sharp weapons leaving her severely injured. A complaint has been lodged in the police and an investigation started in the case b y police officials.
