Chandigarh: District Magistrate, Mrs Aashika Jain has declared Maharaja Yadvindra Singh Cricket Stadium Mullanpur and its surrounding area as No Flying Zone on April 09, 13, 18 and 21 in the wake of IPL matches being played there.
Issuing formal orders under section 144 of CrPC, in this regard, the District Magistrate said that as per the above-mentioned schedule of the IPL matches, the New Cricket Stadium and its surrounding area has been declared as No Flying Zone and there would be a complete ban on flying of any flying object on these days in this area.
Today, Host Punjab Kings (PBKS) will be up against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the match number 23 of the Indian Premier League, at Mullanpur Cricket Stadium.
