Nakodar : A young man return from Dubai died in a road accident on Nakodar-Mehatpur road last night. The deceased youth has been identified as Chandra Mohan (33), son of Ram Asra, a resident of Mohalla Ghos Nakodar.
In the statements given to the police, Ramesh Kumar said that his younger brother Chandra Mohan, who came from Dubai about a month and a half ago. Yesterday evening, his brother went to Mohalla Guru Ravidaspura Nakodar to meet his friend and at around 10:40 AM he went on a motorcycle with his friend but did not came home till 12:00 PM. They searched for him a lot. He was found dead in front of the Government Senior Secondary School on the Nakodar-Mehatpur road at around 1:30PM, with severe injuries on his forehead and the headlight of motorcycle was broken. His dead body was kept at Civil Hospital Nakodar.
He is absolutely sure that his brother Chandra Mohan died after his motorcycle was hit by an unknown vehicle at high speed. City Police Chief Ins. Sanjeev Kapoor said that a case has been registered against the unidentified vehicle driver based on the statements of the deceased’s brother Ramesh Kumar. After the postmortem of the deceased, the body has been handed over to the family members.
