Jalandhar: Jalandhar ED has taken a big action against immigration companies in Ludhiana and Chandigarh. ED teams conducted checking campaigns in Red Leaf Immigration Private Limited, Overseas Partner Education Consultants and Infoviz Software Solutions and other related five commercial and residential properties. All these actions were taken under PMLA 2002. During this, many objectionable documents, digital devices and cash worth 19 lakhs were recovered.
The FIR filed by Delhi Police was made the basis
This action was taken by ED on the basis of FIRs filed by Punjab Police and Delhi Police. The complaint in this regard was given by the Foreign Criminal Investigation Office, US Embassy, New Delhi. This complaint was taken as the basis. In this, information was given about the fraudulent activities done by visa consultants M/s Red Leaf Immigration Private Limited, M/s Overseas Partner Education Consultants and others.
