Khanna: An elderly woman was brutally murdered near Rani Wala Talab in Khanna’s Uncha Behra area. The incident is said to have taken place on Wednesday night. The body of the woman was lying in the room soaked in blood. The deceased woman was identified as Kamlesh Rani (65). The police have identified the woman who committed the murder and police is trying to nab the culprit woman.
A CCTV footage of the time of the incident has surfaced. It is seen that the masked woman enters Kamlesh Rani’s house at 7:30 pm on Wednesday. She goes out after about 2 hours at 9:30 pm. Later when Kamlesh’s son came home at around midnight, he got to know about the murder of his mother.
Kamlesh Rani’s son-in-law Vishal, who lives in Mandi Ahmedgarh, said that both his brothers-in-law work in fast food. Both had gone to the shop at 7 pm on Wednesday. At midnight, he got a call that his mother had been murdered.
The woman who committed the crime also stole gold jewelry. She has been identified from CCTV footage. SHO of City Thana 2 Ashok Kumar said that the woman who committed the murder has been identified as Shan Abbas. She is being searched for and will be arrested soon.
