Elected MP from Khadoor Sahib Amritpal’s wife reached Dibrugarh jail with message of victory

Jalandhar : After winning the Khadoor Sahib seat of Punjab with the huge margin, Kirandeep Kaur, wife of Khalistani supporter Amritpal Singh, has reached Dibrugarh jail in Assam.

Today, on Wednesday, Kirandeep Kaur met her husband and elected MP Amritpal Singh. According to the information received, Kirandeep Kaur has discussed the next strategy with Amritpal Singh.

Kirandeep Kaur and Amritpal Singh’s lawyer Advocate Rajdev Singh Khalsa reached Dibrugarh jail on Wednesday and met Amritpal as well as all the imprisoned Sikhs. On Tuesday itself, Amritpal Singh won the election from Khadoor Sahib seat with the highest vote margin of 1.97 lakh votes in Punjab.

The family is trying to get Amritpal Singh out as per the rules. In which Amritpal Singh now has public support.

Know who is Amritpal Singh

Amritpal is originally from Jallu Kheda village of Amritsar. Amritpal used to live in Dubai. He returned to Punjab in 2022 after the death of Punjabi actor Deep Sidhu, who came into the limelight due to the Red Fort violence. Coming here, he became the chief of Deep Sidhu’s organization Waris Punjab De. After this, Amritpal started making provocative and pro-Khalistan rhetoric. During this, the police took one of Amritpal’s associates into custody.

To free him, Amritpal along with his associates staged a sit-in at Ajnala police station. Amritpal was accused of attacking the police station. There was a clash with the police.

However, after this, the Punjab Police registered a case against Amritpal and started the siege. After several days of absconding, Amritpal was arrested from Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale’s village Rode. After this, a case was registered against Amritpal under the National Security Act (NSA) and he was sent to Dibrugarh jail in Assam.
