Faridkot Police arrests two Gangsters after encounter, One fled

Faridkot: Faridkot police arrested two gangsters after a police encounter today who were allegedly demanding ransom and firing was also done by them at many places.

Giving information, DSP Shamsher Singh said that they received information. It was found that in a village near Kotakpura, suspects are roaming around who also have weapons, after which a CIA team raided the said place, where hidden persons fired at the police, after which the police also retaliated.

During which two gangsters were injured due to bullet injuries in their feet while one of their accomplices managed to escape. They said that the two injured who were arrested by the police were identified as Parminder Singh and Happy.

Gangster Parminder Chidi and Happy are said to be residents of Panniwala village in Fazilka. Both the gangsters are accused of robbery and racketeering.

It is being told that the wires of these accused are also being connected with the firing that took place in Kotakpura a few days ago.

They said that they had demanded ransom from many people of Faridkot and they had fired openly in Kotakpura last day and many other cases have been registered against them.

At present they are undergoing treatment. He has been brought to Faridkot Medical Hospital.
