Jalandhar Rural Police SSP Mukhwinder Singh Bhullar has informed the media and confirmed the encounter of drug smuggler. The accused is injured and has been identified as Gurpreet alias Gopi. The injured accused has been taken to the police station for treatment.
Sources have revealed that the police chased the accused for a long distance and arrested them. Police have arrested a total of two accused from the crime scene. Two pistols, magazines and cartridges have been recovered from him.
