Samrala: A dispute started between two brothers turned into a bloody clash. In this bloody clash, one brother, 52-year-old Rashpal died while the other Chamkaur Singh was injured. Both of them were maternal cousins. One brother brutally killed another brother by slitting his throat.
As per information, the bloody fight took place between two on the road by Sirhind Canal at midnight. In this one brother brutally killed the other brother by slitting his throat. Giving information in this regard, DSP Tarlochan Singh said that Machiwara police station received a call that a bloody clash has taken place near Jhar Sahib. He said that Rachpal Singh resident of Gumanpur, was going from Ludhiana to Baddi with his truck while Chamkaur Singh was going from Baddi to Ludhiana.
Police added that both of them had been having a family conflict with each other. The argument between the two escalated and both attacked each other with kirpans and a bloody fight took place between the two. Chamkaur Singh attacked Rachpal Singh on the neck with a sharp weapon due to which he lost his life while Chamkaur Sahib himself was also badly injured in this fight.
DSP Tarlochan Singh added that police chief Pavitar Singh, Chowki Incharge Sukhwinder Singh and the police party reached the spot and saw that Rachpal Singh was lying in a pool of blood on the roadside and had died while Chamkaur Singh was lying injured nearby. The police have taken possession of Rachpal Singh’s body and sent it for post-mortem and have informed his heirs while Chamkaur Singh has been admitted to the hospital.
He also added that a case of murder will be registered against Chamkaur Singh, the accused in this case, who is admitted to the hospital, based on the statements of the family members.
