Amritsar: Member of Parliament Gurjit Singh Aujla has demanded that the flight fare from Amritsar to Sri Nanded Sahib should be kept cheap. He said that if the flights start soon, he will be very happy. Aujla said that he had been trying for this for a long time and he is happy that the hardship that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has felt for the people today, he has been feeling for many years.
MP Aujla met Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu in July and when he requested him to start flights from Amritsar to Sri Nanded Sahib. After that, the matter was raised in the Lok Sabha as well and this demand was kept continuously. Aujla said that the flight from Amritsar to Sri Nanded Sahib is very popular and when it operated earlier, the flight was always full.
Pilgrims coming to Amritsar for darshan of Sri Darbar Sahib wanted to visit Sri Nanded Sahib, but they faced disappointment due to the cancellation of flights. Member of Parliament Aujla has demanded that the flight fare should be kept low so that all the devotees can benefit from it.
