Amid agitation at Shambhu and Khanauri borders, Farmers Union announces Nationwide tractor march on August 15

Chandigarh: An important meeting of the Sher-e-Punjab Kisan Union was held at the Shambhu Border, which was led by State President Gurinder Singh Bhanghu. After discussion on the march on the Shambhu Border and Khanuri Border, duties of all the districts were imposed to increase the number of marches. Along with this, a tractor march will be taken out across India on 15 August regarding their demands. Along with this, copies of the three laws that snatch the freedom of the people will also be burned. This program will be conducted at the headquarters block and tehsil level.

Union President Gurinder Singh Bhanghu said that the agitation of farmers on the Shambhu and Khanuri fronts has been going on continuously for the last 179 days. Apart from demanding the Central Government make an SSP guarantee law on crops, farmers and labourers are sitting peacefully on the roads to get other farmers’ demands implemented. He said that although recently the Punjab and Haryana High Court had talked about opening the barricades, instead of opening the barricades, the Haryana government stopped the farmers from going to Delhi by making false excuses in the Supreme Court.

On this occasion, Gurinder Singh Bhanghu appealed to the farmers and people to reach the Shambhu border and the Khanuri border in maximum numbers. Daljit Singh Jeeta Phatwan District President Mohali, Malkit Singh Sekhon Senior Vice President District Ropar, Malkit Singh Dhakora Patron Mohali, Rajwinder Singh Guddu Salempur, Mukhbal Singh Ferozepur, Ajaib Singh Tepla Patiala, Avtar Singh Tepla, Kaka Singh Chao Majra, and Harjeet Singh were present in the meeting.
