Farmers to reach out to Non-BJP MPs ahead of Monsoon session, memorandum of demands to be submitted

Farmers will be reaching out to non-BJP MPs across the country from today. Farmers will meet non-BJP MPs and hand over a memorandum of their demands to them. Farmers are constantly adamant about their demands against the Center, of which the MSP guarantee law is the most important. Farmers on the Punjab-Haryana border have now adopted this method to make their voices heard in Parliament.

Farmers want non-BJP MPs in the opposition as well as NDA should bring a private bill on their issues so that farmers can get their rights. Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher says that in every district, farmers will march to the houses of MPs. After this, the MPs will be met and a memorandum will be handed over to them.

Sarwan Singh Pandher said that all the farmers will gather outside the Chief Engineer’s office of the Electricity Department located on Airport Road in Amritsar today. After this, a march will be taken out on foot to the house of MP Gurjeet Aujla and a memorandum will be handed over to the MP.

Farmer leaders say that BJP leaders have been shirking responsibility regarding their demands. But it is time to see which parties in the opposition are with them now. After submitting the memorandum today, MPs will be asked to raise their demands in Parliament.

Farmer leaders are continuously protesting against BJP. Farmers had boycotted BJP even in the Lok Sabha elections. This boycott is still going on and will continue till the demands are met.
