Ludhiana: In a shocking incident raising concerns of law and order, about a dozen armed youths attacked a family here in village sunet in Ludhiana, Punjab. The Youths attacked the family with sharp weapons and baseball bats. In this fatal attack, 3 members of the family were seriously injured who were brought to the civil hospital in a bloody condition.
Among the injured, the condition of the eldest son of the family is said to be critical, who is undergoing treatment in CMC Hospital. Seeing his condition deteriorating, the doctors have put him on a ventilator. In this case a minor agreement turned into a violent clash.
Injured Kala Singh in his statement told that his Younger son had an argument with the Youth from another village. Later, the said youth from another village came to their house with about a dozen companions and attacked their whole family.
On getting the information, injured Kala Singh brought his son home. About 20 minutes later, the said youth came to his house with about a dozen of his companions and attacked him with swords and baseball bats.
During the tretament, Kala Singh got 8 stitches on his head and face, while his elder son Gurvinder Singh got deep wounds on his head. He was admitted to CMC Hospital. In the attack, his younger son Birpal also got sword blows on his head and both arms. Birpal has got four stitches on his head.
SHO Pawan Kumar of Sarabha Nagar police station said that on the statement of injured Kala Singh, a case has been registered against the accused under section 109 of BNS. The police will soon arrest the miscreants.
