Ferozepur: On 27th May’ 2024, at about 05:00 pm in the evening, BSF troops deployed on duty observed a suspected individual on motorcycle.
The troops immediately stopped, questioned and frisked his motorcycle.
During search, the troops recovered 02 small packets (Gross weight- 200 Grams) of suspected narcotics concealed in the tool box of his motorcycle.
Questioning of the individual revealed him to be a resident of nearby village- Chak Bhange Wala of Ferozepur district. Further, the apprehended person alongwith bike & the narcotics has been handed over to the Punjab Police for further investigation.
Watchful observation and prompt action of BSF troops resulted into this claimed seizure, which reflects the BSF’s commitment to make Punjab a drug free state.
