First meeting Between AAP and Congress over seat coordination in Delhi and Punjab

New Delhi: First meeting is underway between Aam Aadmi Party and Congress over seat coordination in Delhi and Punjab ahead of Lok Sabha polls. This is first of its kind meeting held to discuss the distribution of seats for upcoming general elections.

As per reports the meeting is held at the residence of Congress Alliance committee convenor Mukul Wasnik. AAP leaders such as Sandeep Pathak, Saurav Bhardwaj and Atishi attended the meeting while from Congress members of the alliance committee, Delhi Congress state President Arvinder Singh Lovely attended the meeting.

Both Congress and AAP are claiming more seats in Delhi and Punjab for general election to be held in coming months. There are total 13 seats of Lok sabha in Punjab whereas Delhi has 7 seats.

AAP and Congress in 2019

In Lok Sabha Elections of 2019, Aam Aadmi Party won only one seat out of 13 in Punjab whereas in Delhi all seven seats were won by rival BJP. If talk about Congress then the party managed to win Eight seats in the state while couldn’t open account in Delhi.
