Last night in Ludhiana, a young man slit his throat with a blade in an attempt to commit suicide. Fortunately, he was brought to the Civil Hospital on time. The youth got 20 stitches. Seeing the serious condition of the young man, he was referred to PGI.
The name of the injured is Roshan. As per the information, Roshan’s uncle abused him and they had an altercation. After this he got angry and slit his throat with a blade.
The injured young man’s father Ram Singh said that when he returned home from work on Monday, the neighbors told him that his son had slit his throat with a blade after a dispute with his uncle. When the father reached the Civil Hospital, the doctors referred him to PGI Chandigarh.
According to the father, he has not yet come to know what the dispute was about. He added that his son is still unable to speak as there are about 20 stitches on his neck.
