Former ED Deputy Director inspects Budha Nala in Ludhiana, assess current situation

Ludhiana: Former ED Deputy Director Niranjan Singh, who reached Ludhiana on Sunday afternoon, took stock of Budha Nala passing through the middle of the city. Seeing the dirt spread in the drain, Niranjan Singh said that the ED should immediately intervene in this. He said that in the case of pollution in Budha Dariya, whose water is continuously becoming black and chemical-laden, ED should intervene and solve this, and strict action should be taken against the factories spreading dirt.

Former ED Deputy Director Niranjan Singh reached the Jamalpur area of Ludhiana on Sunday, from where he inspected the Budha Nala passing through. Niranjan Singh was surprised to see the black water coming out of various treatment plants at the sewerage treatment plant and dyeing industry near Jamalpur. He said that the purpose of his visit to Ludhiana today is that there is no permanent solution to the problem of Budha Dariya, which is turning into black water.

Niranjan Singh said that seeing the condition of Budha Dariya, it has been proven that there is a stink of corruption here. Every year, the government shows crores of rupees spent on cleaning Budha Dariya but tells us where the cleaning has been done. The problem remains as it is. Black water is going into the drain. Pollution is spreading, and people are getting sick. ED should take immediate action on this entire matter.
