Jalandhar: Suman KayPee, wife of former MP living in Jalandhar and Akali Dal candidate in Lok Sabha elections Mohinder Singh KayPee, died today.
68-year-old Suman was ill for quite some time and was undergoing treatment at PGI Chandigarh. Two days ago, she was brought home from PGI. She breathed her last at around 1.30 pm today.
Suman KayPee was suffering from cancer for some time. In 2012, she contested for the post of MLA from the Western seat on a Congress ticket. In which BJP’s Bhagat Chunni Lal was the winner.
Treatment was going on at Chandigarh PGI
Suman KayPee was also undergoing treatment at PGI Chandigarh. The date and time of his funeral will be decided later.
