Action on BJP, Congress complaints as Gangster Daljeet Bhana’s parole canceled ahead of Jalandhar West bypoll

Jalandhar: In view of the West by-election, Daljit Singh Bhana’s parole has been ordered to be cancelled till the election process is completed. Congress and BJP had also filed a complaint with the commission to cancel Bhana’s parole.

The Chief Electoral Officer of Punjab has informed the Deputy Commissioner of Jalandhar about the instructions of the Election Commission. The Election Commission has given instructions.

Before the voting of Jalandhar by-election on July 10, the Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress had sent a complaint to the Election Commission against the Aam Aadmi Party. It was said in the complaint that the notorious gangster Daljit Singh Bhana is campaigning for the Aam Aadmi Party. In such a situation, action has been taken on the said complaint by the Election Commission.

The Election Commission has given instructions to cancel the parole of Daljit Singh Bhana till the completion of the election process in view of the Jalandhar West by-election.

He was in jail as several murder cases have been registered against him and as per the complaints made by BJP and Congress Bhana after getting parole was now campaigning for the Aam Aadmi Party.
