Good news for commuters: Amidst farmers’ protest this road opened near Shambhu border

Ambala: The way to the Shambhu border in Ambala district on the Haryana and Punjab border has once again been opened up to 100 meters of the toll gate.

Now the drivers will not have to go to Ambala city to go to Punjab. Highway 152D can be used only 100 meters from the toll gate. The barricades have been removed on the orders of the administration.

It is worth noting that due to the farmers’ movement, the Shambhu border was closed for the last one year, due to which the common public was facing a lot of problems.

After this decision, now the drivers will not have to go to Ambala city to go to Punjab.

Highway No 152D can be used only 100 meters from the toll gate. The barricades have been removed on the orders of the administration.

The closure of the border was having a great impact on the city of Ambala and the textile industry here is being badly affected. Apart from that, other businesses in Haryana and Punjab were also getting affected. Crores of rupees have been lost here in the last year.

The impact was also seen on the Roadways as it also suffered loss of lakhs of rupees every day. The important thing is that drivers have to change the route and take longer routes to reach the destination.
