Amritsar: In a gruesome incident from Amritsar, man killed three members of his family with a sharp-edged weapon. The shocking incident is of Jhander area of Amritsar. The man committed crime of killing three family members of his own family which includes, his mother, sister-in-law and a 2-year-old nephew.
The brutal murder was attempted by a 35-year-old youth Amritpal Singh. It is said that Amritpal Singh is mentally unstable and had conflicts with family members. After committing the heinous crime, he himself went to the police station and surrendered to the police.
Following this, Police officials of Jhander police station reached the spot and action is being taken. Police has taken the dead bodies in the possession and have been sent for the post-mortem.
The deceased have been identified as Manbir Kaur (Mother), Avreet Kaur (sister-in-law) and Samarth Singh (2-year-old nephew).
SP Harinder Singh Gill after reaching the spot said, “The accused seems to be mentally unstable but it was yet to be ascertained. He told the police that nobody in the family considers him a good man and therefore he killed them. The investigations are still in progress.”
