Gurdaspur: In a shocking incident that unfolded in Gurdaspur, friends threw body of a youth into the drain after he reportedly died of a drug overdose. The body was thrown in the drain by friends to dispose of it. After the CCTV video was found, police has registered a case against 8 people including a woman.
The deceased has been identified as Sahil whose body was found on the Kadian Batala road under mysterious circumstances. The Police of Kadian solved the case within 24 hours.
A case has been registered against 8 accused which also includes a woman. Police have so far arrested five accused while rest three are still at large.
Giving information, DSP Rajesh Kakkar said that the deceased youth Sahil was addicted to drugs. The deceased Sahil took drugs while he was there at his friend’s house. After his death due to overdose of drugs, his dead body was loaded and thrown into the drain near Batala Road. Police registered case against eight people under the destruction of murder evidence. Police is trying to nab other three accused too.
