Moga: In a horrific accident, collision between an ambulance and a car claimed life of one leaving 8 people injured. The incident took place near the bus stand of village Rajyaana near Baghapurana town of Moga. An Ambulance and Maruti Suzuki car that were going in the same direction met with an accident.
As per the information, the car suddenly took a sharp turn after which it lost its balance and collided with the parallel moving ambulance. The accident was recorded in the nearby CCTV camera. The ambulance was taking the patient from Moga Hospital to Bathinda AIIMS hospital.
In this accident, patient in the ambulance died on the spot while other 8 people were injured.

The incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed there and the people present on the spot said that the ambulance was going to Bathinda with a patient from Moga hospital. When it reached near village Rajyaana, it collided with an A car coming from Baghapurana and the ambulance overturned. People on the road ran and pulled them out, the patient in the ambulance died on the spot, the patient’s relative and the ambulance driver were also said to be seriously injured. According to the information received, four people in the car are also said to be seriously injured, and were sent to the hospital for treatment.
On the other hand, Dr. Komal of the Civil Hospital informed us that 8 patients have come to us in the collision between an ambulance and a car on Moga Kotkapura Road and the patient in the ambulance had died before reaching the hospital.
