Chandigarh: Hunger strike in Khatkar Kalan tomorrow, CM Bhagwant Mann, AAP leaders to protest against Kejriwal’s arrest.
All leaders of the Punjab government under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will observe a hunger strike in Khatkar Kalan, a village associated with freedom fighter Bhagat Singh.
Leaders of Punjab Government will go on hunger strike over the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal.
In a press conference today, Dinesh Chadha AAP leader and MLA from Rupnagar said that Arvind Kejriwal is in jail because he raised his voice against Centre’s BJP government. Claiming that AAP is the sole competitor of BJP in elections, he said that BJP poses a threat only from Arvind Kejriwal in these elections.
He further added that one day hunger strike under the leadership of Bhagwant Mann will be observed to fight for democracy.
Chadha said, “On a one-day hunger strike of Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann over the arrest of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, AAP leader Dinesh Chadha says, “He (Arvind Kejriwal) has been put into jail because he opposes and raises his voice against the centre’s BJP government. BJP poses a threat only from Arvind Kejriwal in these elections. All the AAP workers and Punjab CM will be on a one-day hunger strike to fight for democracy.”
