Hurt by Centre Govt Farmer in Shambhu Morcha commits suicide

Shambhu border: A case of suicide by a farmer has come to light in the ongoing struggle at the Shambhu border. F

Farmers are protesting on shambhu border demanding legal guarantee of MSP for crops.

The reported farmer had taken sulphos on Shambhu border on 14 December. After this, he was admitted to Patiala Rajindra Hospital in critical condition.

The said farmer was undergoing treatment in the Rajendra Hospital and today he died.

The deceased farmer has been identified as Ranjodh Singh (age 57 years). He was a resident of Ratanheri village of Khanna.

Other Farmers on protest said that he was very hurt by the central government’s behavior of not listening to the farmers. Tear gas shells were being fired on the farmers and hurt by the action on farmers he had eaten sulphos during this time.
