Indian Hockey Team arrives in Jalandhar: City welcomes players with exciting road show

Amritsar: The players of the Indian hockey team reached Jalandhar on Sunday after winning the bronze medal in the Paris Olympics. A roadshow was organized in honour of the players, and a grand welcome was given at the Jalandhar BSF Chowk. Players Mandeep, Manpreet, Sukhjeet, and Hardik have reached Jalandhar. Before coming here, the team had come to Amritsar airport, where they were welcomed with drums.

The Indian men’s hockey team arrived in Amritsar on Sunday after winning the bronze medal in the Paris Olympics 2024. The Indian players were given a grand welcome with drums at the Amritsar airport. Fans had gathered outside the airport since morning waiting for the Indian players. Apart from this, Amritsar MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla, Punjab Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, Harbhajan Singh ETO, and MLA Pargat Singh also arrived to welcome the team.

As soon as the Indian hockey team reached Amritsar, it was welcomed with drums and trumpets.

In this Indian hockey team, there are 10 players from Punjab. Their parents also reached the airport to receive them. This moment was emotional.

As soon as the players of the Indian team arrived, they headed straight to the Golden Temple. Where they bowed down at the Gurughar and received the blessings of the Gurus.

Hockey team receives warm welcome

After paying obeisance at the Golden Temple in Amritsar, the hockey team that won the bronze medal in the Olympics will reach Jalandhar directly. The team will be given a warm welcome at PAP Chowk in Jalandhar. From here, the team will take out a road show in Jalandhar in a convoy of vehicles.
