Jalandhar: Jalandhar’s new Police Commissioner IPS Swapan Sharma has assumed his post today. IPS Swapan Sharma has taken charge as Honorable Commissioner of Police Jalandhar today. During this, as soon as he took charge, the newly appointed Police Commissioner IPS Swapan Sharma said that no crime would be tolerated in the Commissionerate area.
He said in the meeting with police officers that making the city drug-free is my main goal. The priority will be to free the city from incidents like theft, snatching, and looting so as to improve the traffic system 100% and provide a clean and peaceful environment for the city residents. Swapan Sharma has been given the responsibility in place of Kuldeep Chahal.
