Bathinda: Farmers including farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal are on a hunger strike on the Khanauri border of Haryana and Punjab. Langar was not prepared today in the morcha. The villagers have also been asked not to bring langar today. A decision on the Delhi march can be taken after today’s meeting.
Farmer leaders Sarwan Singh Pandher and Abhimanyu Kohar said that Dallewal’s health is deteriorating. Dallewal’s fast to death has entered the 14th day. He is also facing difficulty in coming on stage and his kidneys and liver are being affected.
Releasing a medical bulletin, the doctors said that his blood pressure is 124/95, sugar 93, and pulse 87. Shockingly, Dallewal’s weight has decreased by 11 kg which is not a good sign. Dallewal said that this is an all-out fight and that his fast to death will continue until the MSP guarantee law is passed.
On Monday, his relatives came to meet Dallewal, during which he became emotional.
