Kapurthala: Full dress rehearsal in view of the district level celebrations of Republic Day

Kapurthala: On the occasion of 75th Republic Day, the district administration conducted a full-dress rehearsal of the district level program to be held at the local Guru Nanak Stadium on 26 January, in which S.D.M. Lal Vishwas Bains inspected the parade.

SDM Lal Vishwas Bains on the occasion of full-dress rehearsal inspected the march past. During this, SP Tejbir Singh Hundal and Parade Commander DSP Jaspreet Singh was also with him.

The march past included various contingents including men and women of Punjab Police, Punjab Home Guards, NCC boys and girls, students of School of Eminence, Sainik School, Government Senior Secondary School (Randhir School), Nawab Jassa Singh Ahluwalia College, Bands from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Hindu Putripathshala School, Punjab Police and M.G.N School also participated. After inspecting the parade, SDM Lal Vishwas Bains took the salute of the march past.

On this occasion, Shabd singing was done by the students of Government Senior Secondary School (Ghantaghar). Sammi, a folk dance of Punjab was presented by the students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, group song was presented by the students of Hindu Girls Collegiate School and Gidda, a folk dance of Punjab was presented by the students of Government Senior Secondary School (Ghantaghar).

After this, SDM Lal Vishwas Bains called upon the officers of all the departments present in the stadium to celebrate the Republic Day with full enthusiasm and said that they should do their duty with full dedication to conduct the district level function smoothly.
