Patiala: Kuljit Singh, father of Punjabi actor and singer Amy Virk, has been unanimously elected Sarpanch by the residents of Lohar Majra village of Nabha block. There is an atmosphere of happiness in the village. The village Lohar Majra unanimously elected Kuljit Singh as Sarpanch.
Amy Virk’s father Kuljit Singh has been doing social welfare work in the village before and now the villagers have unanimously elected him as Sarpanch and entrusted him with a big responsibility. On this occasion, the family of Amy Virk and the villagers expressed their happiness. Lohar Majra village of Nabha district is famous by the name of Amy Virk and now his father has been elected as sarpanch unanimously.
Talking to reporters, Amy’s father Sarpanch Kuljit Singh said, “This decision was taken by the villagers. We have been leading in the village and have done the village work before and now the decision has been taken by the villagers. I will work diligently for the village and change the face of the village.”
