Agriculture Department seizes consignment of pesticides in Bathinda

Bathinda: A large consignment of pesticides sent from Haryana to Punjab without license has been seized by the officials of the Agriculture Department in Bathinda, Punjab. Orders to take action against people doing business of fake pesticides without license were given to the Agriculture Department by Agriculture Minister Gurmeet Singh Khudian.

After which Dr. Asmanpreet Singh, posted in the production department of the Agriculture Department, achieved success in this.

On the basis of information, the Agriculture Department has seized a large consignment of pesticides being supplied from Haryana to the village of Bathinda district of Punjab without license. Regarding this matter, Dr. Asmanpreet Singh said that he had received information. On the basis of which a consignment of pesticides brought to Haryana in Bhucho Mandi has been seized. But the firm from which this consignment came.

He said that bills of Woodland Agritech India Company have been found with the seized pesticides. This company does not have a license to sell pesticides in Punjab, nor has any license been issued by the Agriculture Department, Chandigarh, Bathinda. Now strict legal action is being taken against them for supplying these pesticides.
