Faridkot: Punjab will undergo polling on June 1. Today, i.e. May 14 is the last date for filing nominations for the elections. AAP’s Faridkot Lok Sabha candidate Karamjit Anmol will file nomination papers today. Before filing nominations, he will lead a road show at Dana Mandi Kotakpura at 10:00 am. His road show will be joined by eminent film actors Gippy Grewal and Binnu Dhillon.
Last Day of filing nomination today
Today, Tuesday is the last day to file nominations for Lok Sabha Elections 2024. 372 nominations have been filed in Punjab so far. Last Monday, 209 nominations were filed in Punjab. Karamjit Anmol will file nomination from Star seat Faridkot today. His star friends Binnu Dhillon and Gippy Grewal are also arriving with him to lend support.
Chief Electoral Officer of Punjab Sibin C has said that on the fifth day of filing nominations for Lok Sabha Elections-2024, 209 nomination papers have been filed for 13 Lok Sabha seats.
29 nomination papers have been filed from Gurdaspur. Among them Amansher Singh Sheri Kalsi from Aam Aadmi Party and Dr. from Shiromani Akali Dal. The name of Daljit Singh Cheema is included.
Yesterday, notable candidates of different parties, namely Preneet Kaur, Pawan Kumar Tinu, Dr Balbir Singh, Amarinder Singh Raja Warring and others filed nominations.
