Amritsar Police vehicle overturns in Ludhiana after collided with divider due to high speed

Amritsar: Last night, on Dugri Bridge in Ludhiana, Punjab, the Amritsar police car lost balance and hit the divider and overturned. The car was badly shattered. The front and rear glass was broken. The speed of the car was so high that after hitting the divider, it fell a long distance away.

The biker coming behind the car also got injured. Fortunately, the road was very busy. Passersby took out the blood-soaked prisoner and 2 policemen safely. The prisoner has suffered serious injuries, while the policemen have suffered minor injuries. Passersby put the injured in their car and took them to the civil hospital. The policemen had come to leave the undertrial prisoner at the juvenile correction centre in Shimlapuri.

ASI Rajinder Kumar of Police Station Cheharta gave information and said that he was coming to Ludhiana to leave a minor undertrial prisoner at the juvenile correction home in Shimlapuri, where on the way, his car lost balance on Dugri Bridge and hit the divider and overturned.

On hearing the noise made by the police personnel, the passersby straightened the car, took out the injured, and took them to the civil hospital. The minor undertrial prisoner has been admitted to the hospital due to serious injuries. The police of the Sadar police station reached the spot and started investigating the case.
