Hoshiarpur: For the first time, rebellion has come to light in Punjab BJP regarding ticket distribution. Yesterday BJP announced candidates for Punjab and reportedly Senior BJP leader Vijay Sampla is not happy with it.
Sampla was a contender for the ticket from Hoshiarpur Lok Sabha seat. However, BJP on Tuesday gave ticket to Union Minister Somprakash’s wife Anita Somprakash from here.
Senior BJP leader Vijay Sampla has removed tag of ‘Modi Ka Pariwar’ from his social media handles (X and Facebook).
Sampla to join Congress
After the reported rebellion, it is expected that Vijay Sampla can quit BJP and join Congress party.
About Vijay Sampla
In 2019, Vijay Sampla’s ticket was cut and given to Somprakash. Due to this Sampla got angry. Sampla has been the former Chairman of the National Commission for Scheduled Castes and Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment.
