Ludhiana: Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal on Monday reviewed the progress of the on-going projects aimed at revitalizing Buddha Dariya.
During the meeting, Jorwal received a detailed update on the status of various projects, including the on-going Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP), Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP), plantation, sampling, and action against dairies, illegal encroachments, and more.
The Deputy Commissioner asked the authorities to accelerate the pace of the projects and emphasized the commitment to clean Buddha Dariya. He also encouraged residents to collaborate with the authorities in promoting greenery across the city.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Amarjeet Bains, MC Additional Commissioner Paramdeep Singh, Assistant Commissioner Kritika Goyal, and officials from the Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB) and the drainage department were among those present at the meeting.
