Minor girl missing from Ludhiana; Family suspects kidnapping after threat calls

Ludhiana, June 29: A 15-year-old girl suddenly went missing from a house in the Gyaspura area of ​​Ludhiana, Punjab. The family searched for her a lot, but she was nowhere to be found. Suddenly, a call came from an unknown number from unknown people and they said that the girl is with them. After saying this, the caller disconnected the call.

Worried about the girl’s disappearance, her parents rushed to the police station where the police are now looking for the girl.

The victim’s family is from Kanpur

Giving information, the girl’s father Arun Kumar and mother Sunita Devi said that they are residents of Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar, Street No. 1, Gyaspura. On Friday afternoon around 3 to 4 pm, their daughter Riya Pal suddenly disappeared from home. The parents said that they are originally from Kanpur. Last year, their son committed suicide due to mental distress. Due to this, their daughter came to Ludhiana from the village with him in the month of April.

Calls from kidnappers came from two unknown mobile numbers

According to the parents, some time after their daughter went missing, they received calls from two different unknown mobile numbers. The caller said that the girl is with them and at one point, the girl’s voice was also heard who was very nervous. Immediately after that, the call got disconnected and both the numbers are now switched off.

According to the family, they suspect that their daughter has been kidnapped. They have lodged a complaint in this regard at the Gayaspur police station.

On the other hand, investigating officer Deepchand said that both the mobile numbers have been traced and the police is investigating the case from every angle. The truth of the case will be revealed soon.
