Ludhiana: Ludhiana MP Ravneet Singh Bittu’s gunman died in an accidental firing inside Bittu’s residence late at night. The name of the deceased is Sandeep Kumar and he was a Central Government security guard resident of Muzaffar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.
While the firing incident happened, MP Ravneet Singh Bittu was not at home and had gone out to attend a special program at that time.
On hearing the sound of gunshot, the security personnel living in the house rushed to the place of incident to protect Bittu but Sandeep Kumar was lying there . After which the information about this incident was given to the nearby police station. As soon as the MP got the information about this incident, Ravneet Singh Bittu returned home and took all the information about the incident.
The body of the deceased has been sent to the local hospital for post-mortem. The bullet pierced the deceased’s neck and passed through his head. At the same time, the CCTV footage installed inside the house is also being checked as to how the bullet went off. The police have started an investigation into the incident.
Police station in-charge Vij Kumar said that right now the police is considering the whole matter as suspicious. The entire matter is being investigated whether the bullet was fired from Sandeep’s pistol or someone else shot him.
